Peltier Road Bridge Replacement

The existing Peltier Road Bridge across the Mokelumne River was built in 1947 and is due for replacement as it is nearing the end of its design life. With this project, the County will be replacing this aging bridge with a new one that is generally similar in disposition and function with the exception of an 18’-6” alignment shift to the north to accommodate traffc during construction.

Because Peltier Road is a vital connector between Interstate 5 and State Route 99, and is one of the main roads that residents, farmers, vineyards and wineries use, traffic along Peltier Road will remain open through the duration of construction.
